Where have we gone wrong?

There must always be a standard of excellence to gauge the quality and intelligence of leadership. How does our current leadership stack up? Does it make you feel safer knowing that men such as these no longer run America?  How would you feel about our current leadership if this man were available to be president? This man earned the respect of the whole world.

President Nixon spoke of Eisenhower's death, "Some men are considered great because they lead great armies or they lead powerful nations. For eight years now, Dwight Eisenhower has neither commanded an army nor led a nation; and yet he remained through his final days the world's most admired and respected man, truly the first citizen of the world.

The irony is that Richard Nixon understanding Eisenhower's greatness as a warrior and statesman was not fit to sit in his chair and in a true act of ignorance or arrogance signed the order to remove the US from the gold standard that has, over time, brought the entire planet to its knees financially.

Following are just a few of the notable accomplishments of one great American leader.
